Enroll, delete, or reset an Evolve In-Wall Dimmer (LRM-AS or LRM-15)

The Evolve In-Wall Dimmer (LRM-AS or LRM-15) can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll an Evolve In-Wall Dimmer into a Z-Wave network:

  1. Install the device in its permanent location. 
  2. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  3. Tap the dimmer paddle once.
  4. Verify that the device shows up on the Alarm.com customer website or Alarm.com app and responds to commands to turn the device on/off.

To delete and reset an Evolve In-Wall Dimmer from a Z-Wave network:

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
  2. Tap the dimmer switch three times, then press and hold the dimmer switch.

Troubleshooting

The Z-Wave device is not enrolling

If the Z-Wave device is unable to be enrolled following the instructions above, see Z-Wave device is not enrolling.

The Z-Wave device is not functioning consistently

If the Z-Wave device is not responding to remote commands or experiencing other issues, see Z-Wave device is not functioning consistently.

The Z-Wave device is in malfunction or offline
