Nice Linear Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener - Troubleshooting Guide

This guide includes troubleshooting steps for situations that may occur with the Nice Linear Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener models (661, LDCO841, LDCO863B, HAE00080).

Beep/flash pattern Meaning Cause Actions
One beep + flash Remote added Remote control entered to memory Add any additional remotes
Two beeps + flashes Door will not operate Shorted wall station wires Check wall station wires. Be sure both are connected to the terminal. Check for and remove any staples compressing the wires. Check for frayed wires.
Three beeps + flashes Door will not close Safety beam obstacle Check for obstacles and align safety beams
Four beeps + flashes Door reverses or will not open or close Open or close force exceeded Check for obstruction or binding of garage door. Adjust force factor if necessary. Reset device if necessary.
Five beeps + flashes Door will not open from remote control Remote was activated while in vacation mode Activate vacation mode on the wallstation or Nice app to exit vacation mode
Six beeps + flashes Limit error Down limit and up limit are set too close together or reversed Reset the open and close limits. Contact a garage professional if the beeps and flashes continue.
Seven beeps + flashes Door reverses or will not open or close Encoder has detected an error Check for obstruction or binding of garage door. Contact a garage professional if the beeps and flashes continue.
Two beeps only Low battery No AC power for an extended period of time, or excessive use Verify AC power is connected to garage door. Allow approximately 10 hours for battery to charge fully.
Four beeps only Diminished battery capacity Battery is approaching the end of its effective life Replace the battery
Five beeps only Minimal battery capacity Battery had reached the end of its effective life Replace the battery
