Change an access point device name

Access point device names can be changed using the Alarm.com app or Alarm.com customer website.

Change an access point device name

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap More.
  3. In Account, tap Manage Devices.
  4. Tap the name of the desired device.
  5. Enter the new name for the device.
  6. Tap OK.
  1. Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Manage Devices.
  4. Click the name of the desired device.
  5. Enter the new name for the device.
  6. Click OK.
