How can the language of notifications be changed?
If there is a preferred language that notifications would like to be received in, this can be changed on either the Alarm.com app or Alarm.com customer website. To do so for all notifications, you will need to utilize both.
Change the language of SMS or email notifications
To change the language of SMS or email notifications using the Alarm.com app:
- Log into the Alarm.com app.
- Tap .
- Tap Users.
- Tap the desired user name to edit.
- Tap Language Preference.
- Tap to select the desired language for notifications.
- Tap Save.
To change the language of SMS or email notifications using the Alarm.com customer website:
- Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Users.
- Click the desired user name to edit.
- Click Language Preference.
- Click to select the desired language for notifications.
- Click Save.
Change the language of push notifications
Note: The language of push notifications can only be changed using the Alarm.com customer website. This will change the language for all push devices on the account.
To change the language of push notifications:
- Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Notifications.
- Click Push Devices.
- Click Language Preferences.
- Select the desired language for push notifications.
- Click Save.
