Configure Email Format

The format of emails sent to you can be configured to send as plain text or HTML. Plain text can be configured if you experience difficulty viewing the content within an email using HTML format.

To configure Email Format using the Alarm.com app: 

  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Users.
  4. Tap to select the user to edit.
  5. In Contact Information, click Email.
  6. Verify the email address for the selected user is correct.
  7. Using the Email Format dropdown menu, select either Plain Text or HTML.
  8. Tap Save.

To configure Email Format using the Alarm.com customer website: 

  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Users.
  3. Click to select the user to edit.
  4. In Contact Information, click Email.
  5. Verify the email address for the selected user is correct.
  6. Using the Email Format dropdown menu, select either Plain Text or HTML.
  7. Click Save.
