Can the list order of automation devices be changed?
The list order for automation devices can be changed based on the device type and how they are being viewed (i.e., Alarm.com customer website and Alarm.com app).
LiftMaster
LiftMaster devices are displayed in alphabetical order on the Alarm.com customer website and Alarm.com app. To change the order of LiftMaster devices on the Alarm.com customer website and Alarm.com app, update the device names so they are in the desired order. For more information, see Change the name of a LiftMaster garage device.
Note: Accounts using LiftMaster and Linear devices will be in order by Device Id.
Z-Wave devices
The order of Z-Wave devices depends on if they are being viewed from the Alarm.com customer website or the Alarm.com app.
Z-Wave devices on the Alarm.com customer website
Z-Wave devices are displayed in the order they were enrolled on the Alarm.com customer website. To change the order of Z-Wave devices on the Alarm.com customer website, delete and re-enroll the devices in the desired order.
Z-Wave devices on the Alarm.com app
Z-Wave devices are displayed in alphabetical order on the Alarm.com app. To change the order of Z-Wave devices on the Alarm.com app, update the device names so they are in the desired order. For more information, see Rename a Z-Wave device.
