Using Enterprise Energy
The Enterprise Energy add-on allows users to manage multiple thermostats from the Locations page on the Alarm.com customer website.
Features
- Display thermostat status across multiple systems (e.g., mode, current temp, setpoint, etc.).
- Change settings across all or selected systems.
- Setting thermostat notifications across all or selected systems.
Note: The Enterprise Energy add-on is enabled by default when a Commercial service package is selected. Enterprise Energy can then be used when any thermostat service package add-on is selected. For more information on how to enable or disable the add-on, see Enable or disable Enterprise Energy for a customer account.
View and edit the thermostat status for each location
To view and edit the thermostat status for each location using the Alarm.com customer website:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- On the Locations page, click Thermostats.
- In the row of each location with an associated thermostat, thermostat status will be displayed, as shown in the following image.
- Click the thermostat name to change settings for an individual thermostat.
To view and edit the thermostat status for each location using the Alarm.com app:
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap

- Tap Thermostats.
- Tap the location name to change settings for an individual thermostat.
- If a location has more than one thermostat, swipe left or right to view the statuses of the other thermostats.
- Edit the thermostat status as desired.
Note: To update advanced thermostat settings, tap.
Create thermostat schedules and apply them to thermostats in the group
To create thermostat schedules and apply them to thermostats in the group:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Settings.
- Click Thermostat Schedules.
- Click Create New Template.
- On the Thermostat Schedule page, heat/cool settings can be adjusted based on a variety of options.

- In the Schedule Name field, enter the desired schedule name.
- In Location Selection, select to apply the template to All Locations or Partial Locations.
- Click to select the Apply this template by default to any locations added to the group checkbox to apply these settings to all locations added to the group in the future.
- Click Save.
Configure thermostats settings and apply them to thermostats in the group
To configure thermostats settings and apply them to thermostats in the group:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Settings.
- Click Thermostat Configuration.
- Click Create New Template.
- A variety of settings can be configured on the Thermostat Settings Template page. Mouse over
next to the desired setting for more information.

- In the Template Name field, enter the desired name for the template.
- In Location Selection, select to apply the template to All Locations or Partial Locations.
- Click to select the Apply this template by default to any locations added to the group checkbox to apply these settings to all locations added to the group in the future.
- Click Save.
Set temperature alert notifications and apply them to thermostats in the group
To set temperature alert notifications and apply them to thermostats in the group:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Notifications.
- Click New Notification.
- Click Temperature.
- Click Temperature Alert.
- On the Temperature Alert Notification page, notification settings are applied to all locations in the group. Updates made to this notification will overwrite thermostat notification settings for all locations

- In the Notification Name field, enter the desired name for the notification.
- To add notification recipients, click the + Add button.
- Click to select your desired recipients from the Address Book. To add an unlisted recipient click +New. When recipients have been selected, a checkmark will appear next to their contact information.
- Click Close.
- Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
- Click Save.
Set thermostat change alert notifications and apply them to thermostats in the group
To set thermostat change alert notifications and apply them to thermostats in the group:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Notifications.
- Click +New Notification.
- Click Temperature.
- Click Thermostat Alert.
- On the Thermostat Alert Notification page, notification settings are applied to all locations in the group. Updates made to this notification will overwrite thermostat notification settings for all locations.

- In the Notification Name field, enter the desired name for the notification.
- To add notification recipients, click the + Add button.
