Receiving an error that a code is already in use for a commercial account

If a user has recently deleted the code from an individual location and added it to an Enterprise Group, then they may receive an error that the code is already in use when they try to add it to an Enterprise Group.

Group information is updated roughly every 5 minutes. The group still thinks the single system PIN code is in use until the group cache is refreshed. This caching is meant to boost website performance, particularly for large groups containing hundreds of locations and thousands of PIN codes. So the observed behavior is not due to latency in the physical security system, rather the way information is stored and updated on the Alarm.com customer website.

How to resolve:

After a user is deleted, click Refresh on the Alarm.com customer website or tap Refresh  on the Alarm.com app. If this is not done, the Alarm.com customer website or Alarm.com app may display a warning message saying the code is already in use.
