Alarm.com Skill - Interact with your security system through Amazon Alexa
Note: Arm away is currently not supported.
There are three ways to interact with the security panel: by partition, group of partitions, or general device type.
- To interact by partition, use the exact name in the command.
- To interact with a group of devices with similar names, use a common word in the partition names.
Example: If there is a partition named Front Door and Front Area, both can be armed by saying, "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to arm stay the front partitions." - To interact with the entire security system by general device type (e.g., security system or panel), say the type of device in the command.
Example: "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to arm the panel," or "Alexa, ask Alarm.com is my panel armed?"

No arming parameter
- "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to arm stay."
- "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to arm security system stay."
- "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to arm stay partition one.”
No entry delay
- "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to arm stay with no entry delay."
To disarm:
Note: Disarming the system is a secure command. For more information about secure commands and how to enable them, see Alarm.com Skill - Enable secure commands.
- "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to disarm with [four-digit pin code]."
- "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to disarm partition one with [four-digit pin code]."
- "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to disarm my panel with [four-digit pin code].”
To ask a question:
- "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to what is the state of my system?"
- "Alexa, ask Alarm.com is my panel disarmed?"
- "Alexa, ask Alarm.com is my panel currently armed away?"
