Why are Wi-Fi ONVIF or VAPIX cameras unsupported?

Third-party cameras are required to be connected to a Pro Series recorder (ADC-CSVR20000P/08P/16P) to be compatible with Alarm.com.

Cameras can only be connected to the ADC-CSVR2000P/08P/16P using Ethernet.
