How are third-party cameras encrypted while being used on Alarm.com?

Alarm.com does not manage third-party camera encryption. However, once the Pro Series recorder (ADC-CSVR2000P/08P/16P) receives the video stream from the cameras, it uses Alarm.com's encryption standards for all additional communication.
