Replace the drive for an ADC-SVR210
The drive for an ADC-SVR210 can be replaced.
To replace the drive for an ADC-SVR210:
- Disconnect the power and Ethernet cables from the SVR.
- Remove the plastic door on the back of the SVR.
- Disconnect the cables from the HDD.
- Unscrew the screw on the plastic HDD caddy.
Note: Avoid removing the screw as it is difficult to re-insert. - Pull firmly on the plastic handle for the HDD caddy to remove it.
- With the caddy removed, remove the screws securing the HDD to the caddy.
- Take the new HDD and secure it to the caddy.
- Replace the caddy into the ADC-SVR210 and secure it in place with the screw.
- Reconnect HDD cables.
- Replace the plastic door.
- Reconnect the power and Ethernet cables to the SVR.
- Using the Alarm.com customer website run hard drive care.
- To run hard drive care:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Video.
- Click Settings.
- Using the dropdown menu, select the SVR.
- Click Drive Care.
- Click Run a Hard Drive Check.
