To install the SVR:

  1. Use a standard Ethernet cable to connect the SVR to the router.

Important: The SVR must be connected to the same router as the cameras to be associated with it.

  2. Connect the SVR to the AC adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet.
  3. Allow a few minutes for the SVR and router to connect. When the PWR LED is solid green, the wireless connection is complete.
  4. Add the device to the account by using the Alarm.com app Video Installation Wizard, or by using a web browser and entering the following web address: www.alarm.com/addcamera (you will need the customer’s user name and password if using the Alarm.com customer website).
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to enroll and set up the SVR. For more information about adding a camera to an account, see its installation guide in Video Devices.
