Can the resolution or frame rate of the SVR recordings be changed?

Users can adjust the quality of saved video being sent to a Stream Video Recorder (SVR). The available options are based on the camera and can vary between devices.

To change the quality of recordings from a video device to an SVR:

If the video device to be adjusted is not yet recording to the SVR, it must first be associated to the SVR. For more information about the association process, see Associate a video device to an SVR.

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Video.
  3. Click Recording Rules.
  4. Click Local Recordings.
  5. Click Edit on the schedule/video device to be adjusted.
