Can an SVR hard drive be configured as a backup?

Yes, but only with the ADC-SVR100 and ADC-CSVR126. There must be multiple drives installed on the device. Users can designate one of the drives as a backup during enrollment to the account.

Important: The hard drive can only be configured as a backup during enrollment. To change the hard drive backup designation for an SVR that is already enrolled on an account, the SVR must be removed and re-enrolled.

A hard drive configured as a backup is a copy of the actively recording hard drive. If the main hard drive stops recording, the backup will stop recording as well.
