Can an SVR/CSVR continue to record without an internet connection?
Yes. As long as the local IP addresses of the Stream Video Recorder (SVR) and any connected cameras do not change, the SVR continues to record video and retains all of its local functionality during an internet outage. While the cameras may continue to record to the SVR if there are no disruptions to the LAN, the SVR Timeline will not be accessible if the SVR is not connected to the internet (i.e., no WAN connection).
Important: If the local network is disrupted while there is no internet connection, the SVR's ability to record may be affected.
If network connectivity or power is lost while using a local display, the password must be re-entered to play recorded footage locally. For SVR210, CSVR126, and CSVR 20XXP/21XXP series, the local monitor will be disabled after five days of no internet connection.
