Why does the ADC-V620PT sometimes go to solid red when scanning for Wi-Fi networks?
This is expected behavior from the ADC-V620PT and can occasionally happen. The camera is still scanning for Wi-Fi networks and should not be power cycled or disconnected from the Ethernet. Wait until the Alarm.com customer website notifies that the scan is successful or if it failed.
If scanning for the Wi-Fi network fails:
- Disconnect the camera power.
- Leave the camera off for 2 minutes.
- Reconnect camera power.
- Once the camera has a solid green LED, scan for Wi-Fi again using the Alarm.com customer website.
