Vacation Watch for Video Analytics
Vacation Watch for Video Analytics is a feature that allows customers to create temporary rules so they can remain worry-free while away on vacation or extended weekends. This removes the need to manually arrange temporary schedules, ensuring customer safety and peace of mind.
To setup Vacation Watch, customers can choose a start and end date as part of any Video Analytics recording rule.
Note: Vacation Watch schedules have a maximum of 60 days.
Create a Vacation Watch for Video Analytics schedule
- To start, create a Video Analytics rule. For more information about creating and configuring Video Analytics rules, see Configure a Video Analytics rule.
- In The rule will run, select While on vacation and the desired date range for Vacation Watch to start and end.
- Once the recording rule is configured as desired and saved, confirm that the rule is set up from the main recording rules page. Verify the Vacation Watch timeframe is the desired schedule.
