How well can Alarm.com cameras see in the dark? (night vision, infrared)
Most Alarm.com cameras have night vision or infrared (IR) capabilities.
All other Alarm.com IP cameras cannot use IR illuminators to see in complete darkness, but they have good performance in low-light conditions, down to 0.3 lux. External IR Illuminators, such as the Clover Electronics IR030 Infrared LED Night Light, can be used to enhance the night-viewing range of the cameras.
Note: Video recorded using night vision or infrared will be in black and white.
