Firmware upgrade fails during video device installation
If a video device firmware upgrade fails during installation, attempt the following troubleshooting steps in order. They are listed by order of expected ease.
After each step, attempt the upgrade again to check if the issue is resolved.
- Power cycle the video device for two minutes.
- Power cycle the network (i.e., router) for two minutes.
- Factory reset the video device.
- Attempt a manual firmware upgrade before installation.
