Can live video display on a normal TV from the cameras?
Yes, but it requires specific devices. The following devices allow Alarm.com cameras to be viewed on a TV.
Alarm.com app for TV
Alarm.com has applications for Apple TV (tvOS 15.0+), Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV. All devices require the free Alarm.com app to be downloaded from the applicable application marketplace.
For more information about how to install the app on a TV, see Alarm.com Video for TV.
Note: The ADC-VDB755P is compatible with Apple, Amazon Fire, and Android TV. All other Alarm.com doorbell cameras are not.
Alarm.com Video Servers
Analog cameras connected to an Alarm.com video server can be fed into a TV, multiplexer, or similar analog video device for local display. This would be connected using a video distribution amplifier or similar powered splitter.
For more information about the latest video server, see HD Video Server (ADC-VS123/NV432-V2).
SVR/CSVRs
Stream Video Recorders (SVRs) and Commercial Stream Video Recorders (CSVRs) can output live and recorded video to a TV using an HDMI connection.
For more information about SVR/CSVRs, see Stream Video Recorder (SVR) or Commercial Stream Video Recorder (CSVR).
Note: The ADC-SVR100 does not have a way to output video to a TV.
