Create a Video Analytics notification for the ADC-VDB780B
Users can create notifications for the Alarm.com Wireless Video Doorbell (ADC-VDB780B) during its Video Analytics configuration. If the Video Analytics rule is already created, edit the rule to reconfigure notifications.

Note: The ADC-VDB780B motion notification is sent to the user immediately after the device identifies a person.
Create an ADC-VDB780B Video Analytics notification
Create Video Analytics notifications for the ADC-VDB780B using the Alarm.com customer website and Alarm.com app.
To create an ADC-VDB780B Video Analytics notification using the Alarm.com customer website:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Video.
- Click Recording Rules.
- Click Add New Rule, or click
to edit an existing notification. - Click Video Analytics.
- Click to select the ADC-VDB780B.
- Click Next.
- In Notify Recipients, click to select the desired users to be notified.
- Configure the rest of the rule as desired. For more information about how to configure a Video Analytics rule, see Configure Video Analytics rules.
- Click Save.
To create an ADC-VDB780B Video Analytics notification using the Alarm.com app:
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap Video.
- Tap
. - Tap Recording Rules.
- Tap Add, or tap to edit an existing notification.
- Tap Video Analytics.
- Tap to select the ADC-VDB780B.
- In Notify Recipients, tap to select the desired users to be notified.

- Tap Save.
