Adjust the wedge type for the ADC-VDB770

Configure the ADC-VDB770 wedge type (i.e., type of mounting bracket) for optimal motion detection. For more information about what types of wedges are available for the ADC-VDB770, see Are there additional mounting brackets for the ADC-VDB770?.

Adjust the wedge type

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Video.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Select the desired video device.
  5. Click General.
  6. Using the Wedge dropdown menu, select the appropriate mounting bracket. Each mounting bracket has a letter printed on its back that corresponds with its type.

  7. Click Save.
  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Doorbell Video Call or Video .
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Using the Wedge Type dropdown menu, select the appropriate mounting bracket. Each mounting bracket has a letter printed on its back that corresponds with its type.
  5. Tap Check.
