Wire the ADC-VDB750 to two chimes

The ADC-VDB750 can support up to two digital or mechanical chimes simultaneously. Installations with two digital chimes require two power modules. The chimes themselves must be wired in parallel rather than in a series.

Important: The ADC-VDB750 requires a minimum transformer rating of 16VAC, 20VA when wired to two chimes.

For more information about enrolling the ADC-VDB750, see Alarm.com Video Doorbell (ADC-VDB750) - Installation Guide

Wiring Diagram
  1. Wire one terminal of the transformer to the TRANS terminal of each chime. A wire connector may be used to simplify the wiring at the transformer terminal.
  2. Wire the ADC-VDB750 to the FRONT terminal of each chime. A wire connector may be used to simplify the wiring at the doorbell backplate.
  3. Wire the remaining terminal of the transformer to the ADC-VDB750 backplate.
Note: The resistor or mechanical chime dongle can be used as normal, if required, on either or both of the mechanical chimes. For more information, see Power Accessories for the ADC-VDB750 - User Guide.
