A Google Nest Thermostat may malfunction due to a lack of power and/or consistent Wi-Fi connection.
If a Google Nest Thermostat goes into malfunction status after enrollment:
- Verify the thermostat is connected to AC or battery power.
- Verify the thermostat has an active internet connection.
