Will an Alarm.com Temperature Sensor work on a non-Alarm.com thermostat?

For full functionality, including pairing the Alarm.com Temperature Sensors for direct control, temperature averaging, and scheduled automation, one of the Alarm.com Smart Thermostats (Smart Thermostat HD, ADC-T3000, ADC-T2000) is needed.

Note: Without the Alarm.com Smart Thermostat, the current temperature in the associated Alarm.com Temperature Sensor’s location can still be seen and used to inform decisions when selecting a target temperature.

For more information about how to use the Alarm.com Temperature Sensor, see Alarm.com Temperature Sensor - User Guide.
