Thermostat displays N/A instead of the temperature

Typically, the thermostat shows N/A instead of the temperature when the thermostat is newly installed and has not reported a temperature to Alarm.com yet. It is also possible for a Remote Temperature Sensor (RTS) to display N/A instead of the temperature for the same reason.

Resolve the behavior
  1. Turn the thermostat on, and then change the temperature by a few degrees. Shortly after, it should report its temperature.
  2. If the thermostat still does not update its temperature after a few minutes of the manual change, remove and re-enroll the thermostat into the Z-Wave network.
