Find the serial number on an Alarm.com Smart Thermostat
The serial number of an Alarm.com Smart Thermostat (Smart Thermostat HD, ADC-T2000, and ADC-T3000) can be found on the box it came packaged in or locally on the thermostat.
To find the serial number of a Smart Thermostat HD:
On the box:
The serial number is the 16-digit number located on the upper right of the sticker.
On the thermostat:
- Remove the thermostat from the backplate.
- The serial number is located on the back of the front plate above the terminals.
To find the serial number of an ADC-T2000:
Important: If requesting a return (RMA) of the ADC-T2000, select the Parts Without Unique Identifiers category since serial numbers are not used for these RMAs. For more information, refer to the following image.
For ADC-T2000-RC models, use the serial number found using the following methods.
On the box:
The serial number is the 11-digit number located at the bottom of the sticker.
On the thermostat:
- Identify the thermostat as an ADC-T2000.
- Remove the back cover.

To find the serial number of an ADC-T3000:
On the box:
The serial number is the 16-digit located below the barcode on the sticker.
