Can the Alarm.com Smart Thermostat display stay on permanently?
Yes. After configuring the Display ON setting for the ADC-T2000, the thermostat mode and temperature will be displayed at all times without requiring a button push.
The ADC-T40K-HD and ADC-T3000 displays cannot stay on permanently, but they can be configured to wake when motion is detected nearby. For more information about enabling motion-detected wake, see Enable or disable motion-detected wake on an Alarm.com Smart Thermostat.
Important: This feature will only work if the Smart Thermostat (ADC-T2000) has firmware 1.50+ and detects AC power. If the thermostat is only running on batteries, the screen will go to sleep after about 12-15 seconds.
Configure the Display ON setting
To configure the Display ON setting using the Alarm.com customer website:

- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- In the Thermostats card, click
. - Click Advanced Configuration.
- Click User.
- In Display ON, click Enabled.
- Click Save.
