Adjust the heat and cool setpoint ranges of the Smart Thermostat

Setpoint minimum and maximum temperatures can be adjusted on the Smart Thermostat configuration page using the Alarm.com Alarm.com customer website, or Alarm.com app. 

Configure setpoints

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com customer website. 
  2. Click Detailson the thermostat card. 
  3. Click the Advanced Configuration.
  4. Using the dropdown menu, select the thermostat to configure.
  5. In Heat Setpoint on the User tab, enter the minimum and maximum target temperatures for heat mode. 
  6. In Cool Setpoint on the User tab, enter the minimum and maximum target temperatures for cool mode. 
  7. Click Save. 
  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app. 
  2. Tap Detailson the thermostat card. 
  3. Tap Configure.
  4. Tap Device Settings. 
  5. In Thermostat Lock, tap the current value. 
  6. Use the Heat Setpoint slider to adjust the minimum and maximum target temperatures for heat mode. 
  7. Use the Cool Setpoint slider to adjust the minimum and maximum target temperatures for cool mode. 
  8. Tap Apply to save changes.
