Alarm.com Smart Thermostat (ADC-T2000) - Interactive Wiring Guide

Compatibility Alert: The ADC-T2000 may not be compatible with an unlisted system type. To verify, see Which types of HVAC systems is the Alarm.com Smart Thermostat compatible with?.

*Boiler and radiant heat are common conventional HVAC systems. For help identifying the HVAC type, see What are the different types of HVAC systems?.

Existing thermostat wiring

O/B Zoning: O and B are uncommon in conventional systems. If the purpose of the O/B wire is unclear, review the existing wiring and system type. For more information about wiring, see Alarm.com Smart Thermostat - Wiring and Configuration Guide.

Compatibility Alert: A Heat Pump cannot operate without the use of an O/B wire. For more information about Heat Pump systems, see What are the different types of HVAC systems?.

Customizable Terminal: The Z terminal on the ADC-T2000 is multifunctional. Configure the Z terminal for the same function as the original thermostat did with that wire. For more information, see Alarm.com Smart Thermostat - Wiring and Configuration Guide.

Additional Wires: If a wire used in the thermostat is not currently listed, it may still be able to be used in the ADC-T2000. For more information about additional wire types, see Alarm.com Smart Thermostat - Wiring and Configuration Guide.
