SDS Indoor PoE Gunshot Sensor (ADC-SDS2001) - Data sheet
The SDS Indoor PoE Gunshot Sensor is a dual-mode gunshot detection sensor from Shooter Detection Systems Powered by Alarm.com. The sensor can detect shots from up to 40 feet away by recognizing the infrared (flash) and acoustic (bang) signature of a gunshot.
The sensor is powered and communicates primarily over Ethernet with Alarm.com. The Alarm.com Cell Connector is a required additional install that provides life-saving cellular backup in case of internet failures. The gunshot sensor can be installed on accounts with or without a security panel, providing 24/7 monitoring of gunshots and integration with Alarm.com's suite of products, including Pro Series video cameras.
For more information about how Shooter Detection Systems (SDS) communicated with the Monitoring Station, see Shooter Detection Systems (SDS) - Monitoring Station Forwarding.
