Panel Duress
The Panel Duress trouble condition indicates a duress alarm is being reported. For a duress alarm trigger, a duress code is used instead of the regular arming or disarming code in order to indicate a possible hostage situation.
For information about adding or changing a duress code, see Add or change a duress code remotely.
How to resolve:
- Disarm the system using a regular disarm code.
Important: During duress/silent panic/holdup alarms, Two-Way Voice calls are listen-only (i.e., the speaker is muted but can hear the user at the panel).
The panel duress trouble condition can also be cleared from the Alarm.com customer website. For more information about clearing the duress, see Clear a duress, panic, or smoke alarm from the Customer Website.
