Hidden Partition Armed
The Hidden Partition Armed trouble condition appears when an updated system status is requested and there is an armed partition that does not appear in the customer's equipment list. This occurs if the system was locally globally armed, which arms all partitions even if they are not on the customer's equipment list.
How to resolve:
Perform a global disarm on the system. If a panel (i.e., SEM-DSC PowerSeries) cannot perform a global disarm, verify all partitions are disarmed individually.
For more information about performing a global disarm on the system, refer to the panel manufacturer.
To perform a global disarm on a SEM-Honeywell/ADEMCO Vista:
Important: This must be done using an alphanumeric keypad. (i.e., 6160).
- Enter a user code that has access to all partitions.
- Press [0][1].
To disarm each partition on a SEM-DSC PowerSeries:
Note: There is no way to perform a global disarm on the SEM-DSC PowerSeries, so each partition must be disarmed individually. The user code used must have access to all partitions.
- Press and hold [#] to view partition status.
- Press and hold the number of the partition to move to.
- Enter a user code to disarm the selected partition.
