Device Warm-Up Mode
The Device Warm-Up Mode trouble condition indicates that the device has entered a limited functionality mode due to low environmental temperatures. This may also appear in the equipment list as Low Temperature Reduced-Power or Thermal Mode.
Functions enabled while in Device Warm-Up Mode:
- Button presses triggering an indoor chime
- Video clip notifications
- Button press
- Video Analytics
- Touchless Chime
Functions disabled while in Device Warm-Up Mode:
- Video recordings
- Video streaming using the Alarm.com app
- Stream to panel
- Two-way audio
- Button presses triggering an outdoor tone
How to resolve:
Allow the device to warm up to its operating temperature to restore full functionality.

Important: The device will cease to ring the indoor chime at around ~ -40° C ambient without a temperature collar.
