Credentials in Conflict
The Credentials in Conflict trouble condition means that two user credentials on a single Access Control account or Access Control enterprise group match, and at least one of the two users has access to any access point. A potential scenario that could trigger this is the merging of two accounts into one Access Control enterprise group.
In the event a conflict of user credentials occurs, it is required to edit or remove the credentials from one of the listed users to avoid a scenario where two conflicting users have access to the same access points without distinguishing who actually presented their credentials.
How to resolve:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click User Access.
- Click Users.
- Click to select any user with conflicting credentials.
- In Credentials, click the credential desired to change.
- Click Edit or Delete to change the credential or remove it.
- Click Save.
- If additional edits are required, repeat steps 4-7 until no users have conflicting credentials.
