Change a user's name
Secondary system user names can be changed to manage systems with multiple users.
Note: The master user's name cannot be changed using the Alarm.com customer website as it is associated with the name on the account for residential accounts and the business name for commercial accounts. For more information, see Change the name on a customer account.
To change a secondary user name:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Users.
- Click the desired user name to edit.
- Click
on the user's current name.
- Enter the user's name in the First Name and Last Name fields.
- Click Save.
