Qolsys IQ Pro - MX Devices
When the HSM3105 expander is added to the Qolsys IQ Pro, it is possible to add MX addressable sensors. For more information about the HSM3105 expansion module, see HSM3105 Installation Manual.
Note: The HSM3105 MX Module cannot be used with other addressable sensors (e.g., Bosch, Honeywell, etc.)

What are MX Devices?
MX Devices are Qolsys' proprietary version of addressable loops. Addressable loops can be thought of as hardwired smart sensors that can be chained together in various ways.
On the Equipment list, MX Devices are listed as sensors that show MX Addressable as shown in the following image:
