What are the power requirements for a Qolsys IQ Panel?
Measuring panel voltage is a common troubleshooting step when experiencing odd behavior on a panel. Most often, this step is required when there is a Modem-Panel Comm message, or the panel is not communicating properly with Alarm.com.
Important: The Qolsys IQ panel must use the original power supply included in the box to ensure devices work properly and it is able to receive a full charge.
Voltage cannot be measured for a Qolsys IQ Panel using a voltmeter. Verify the power supply has the required voltage. Voltage is significantly different than 12V could cause system trouble.
