Find the signal strength of a Qolsys IQ Panel

Signal strength is the reported signal level of the cellular module in a panel. 

Find the signal strength

The signal strength can be requested locally using the panel. 

  1. From the home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Enter the installer code or master code.
  3. Tap About.
  4. Scroll to Cellular to view the current signal and registration status. 

 

The signal strength is reported in bars, from 0 bars to 6 bars, 6 being the best possible. Keep in mind that a sustained signal level of two or more bars is the recommended minimum.
