Interact with automation devices from a Qolsys IQ4 Hub
The Qolsys IQ4 Hub allows users to interact with Z-Wave lights, locks, thermostats, and garage devices locally at the panel. For information about adding Z-Wave devices, see Manage Z-Wave devices on a Qolsys IQ4 Hub.
Note: Additional Z-Wave devices may be able to be added and controlled locally. For more information, refer to the device manufacturer.
To interact with Z-Wave lights from a Qolsys IQ4 Hub:
- Swipe to the Lights section.
- Tap the round checkbox next to the desired lights/smart sockets.
- Tap On, Off, or Get Status.
To interact with Z-Wave locks from a Qolsys IQ4 Hub:
- Swipe to the Locks section.
- Flick up/down to choose a door (if applicable).
- Tap the key icon to lock
or unlock 
the door. Alternatively, tap Unlock All or Lock All.
To interact with thermostats from a Qolsys IQ4 Hub:
Important: To interact with ecobee Smart Thermostats, the panel must be on software version 4.6.1+ and Dual-Path communication. For more information about adding this device, see ecobee Smart Thermostats - Integration Guide.
- Swipe to the Thermostats section.
- Tap the arrows to adjust the temperature.
- Tap
to set the fan to Fan On or Fan Auto. - Tap the currently displayed icon to set the thermostat status to Off

To interact with garage devices from a Qolsys IQ4 Hub:
The Qolsys IQ4 Hub allows users to interact with Z-Wave Linear, LiftMaster, Genie, and Overhead Door garage door controls locally at the panel.
- Swipe to the Garage section.
- View the current status of the garage doors.
- Tap Open

to open or close the garage doors.
Note: MyQ Gate Openers and Commercial Garage Door Openers are not currently supported for viewing or controlling status on the Qolsys IQ4 Hub.
To interact with Z-Wave water valves from a Qolsys IQ4 Hub:
- Swipe down to open the menu, then tap Settings.
- Tap Other Z-Wave Devices.
- In Test, tap Close for the desired water valve.
