Qolsys - Sensor Restorals

Sensor restorals are sent if a sensor triggers an alarm and is then closed or reset before the system is disarmed.

For trouble restorals, a restoral is forwarded when the trouble condition has been resolved. Trouble conditions which would forward a restoral include a low battery, power failure, loss of panel communication, and sensor trouble.

Important considerations:

  • Smoke and CO Detectors will report their restoral signal to the monitoring station even after the IQ System has been disarmed.
  • All other Sensor restorals are forwarded only if the sensor is closed before disarming the panel. If the panel is disarmed with the sensor open, then the sensor is closed after disarming, a restoral is not forwarded since disarming resolves the issue presented.
