Compatibility 

The IQ Remote PowerG is compatible with the following Qolsys panels:

  • IQ Panel 5/IQ5 Hub/IQ5 NS on any software version
  • IQ Pro on any software version
  • IQ4 NS on any software version 
  • IQ Panel 4 / IQ4 Hub on software version 4.3.0+ 

Up to three tablets can be paired over Wi-Fi and up to five over PowerG, for a total of eight tablets. 

Additional considerations
  • It is recommended that the panel be on the latest software version before pairing the IQ Remote to ensure full functionality. 
  • Garage door control and thermostat control are only available when IQ Remote PowerG tablets are enrolled via Wi-Fi instead of PowerG.
  • Doorbell-to-panel notifications are compatible with IQ Remote PowerG tablets on Qolsys panel software version 4.4.0+. There is only the option to Dismiss the notification. 
  • The IQ remote does not appear as a peripheral device in the equipment list.
  • To stream live video to the IQ Remote, it must be paired to the main panel through Wi-Fi, not PowerG. For more information about streaming video to the IQ Remote, see Stream live video from Alarm.com cameras to the IQ Remote.
