Sensor 39 (Severe Weather Alerts) is in malfunction on an Interlogix Simon XTi
On an Interlogix Simon XTi, sensor 39 is used for Severe Weather Alerts. For more information about Severe Weather Alerts, see Severe Weather Alerts.
If sensor 39 (Severe Weather Alerts) is in malfunction on an Interlogix Simon XTi:
Note: If the customer does not have Severe Weather Alerts but is seeing sensor 39 (Severe Weather Alerts) in malfunction, delete the weather sensor and verify Severe Weather Alerts is not selected in their service package. It may require an additional equipment list update to clear from the equipment list.
- Request an update for the system status and equipment list. For more information about this process, see Request an updated sensor list.
- If the malfunction does not clear, disarm the panel, then send a hard reset to the panel. For more information about sending a hard reset, see Send a Hard Reset command to a module.
- Once the system is back online, request an update for the system status and equipment list once again.
- If sensor 39 is still in malfunction:
- Remove Severe Weather Alerts from the service package. For more information about adjusting the service package, see Update the service package on a customer account.
- Update the equipment list to verify sensor 39 is removed.
- Re-add Severe Weather Alerts to the service package.
- Verify sensor 39 appears properly in the equipment list.
