Find the firmware version of an Interlogix NX
The following Interlogix NX panels are fully compatible with Alarm.com:
- NX4 (v2)
- NX6 (v2)
- NX8 (v2)
- NX8E
Any other NX panel versions, including the v1, are not compatible with Alarm.com.
To find the firmware version of an Interlogix NX:
- Look at the sticker inside the door of the Interlogix NX panel.
- If NX is followed by a V2, it is version 2. The following is an example of an NX 8 Version 2, which is compatible with Alarm.com:
- The NX8e is essentially version 3 of the NX 8 panel.
- If it just says NX and then a number, it is version 1. The version 2 panels of the NX 4, 6, and 8 panels started shipping from UTC in December of 2004, so panels manufactured before this date are not going to be compatible with Alarm.com modules.
- If NX is followed by a V2, it is version 2. The following is an example of an NX 8 Version 2, which is compatible with Alarm.com:
