Can water sensors be used with the Interlogix NX?

Yes. By default, the Interlogix NX panel does not have a sensor group that reports a water alarm. However, an unused sensor group can be customized locally to report the alarm code for water, which is 17.

Example: A water sensor could be enrolled as an Interlogix NX Zone Type 7. To do this, Location 122 Segment 1 must be set to 17 in the panel programming. The installation guide can be used to determine the location for sensor group 7, which is 122. If sensor group 7 is not in use, Location 122 can be programmed to 17 so it reports as a water alarm.
