What is the Z1/ZCOM terminal on an Interlogix Concord 4?

The Z1 and ZCOM terminals are essentially another hardwired input zone that functions similarly to the other eight hardwire (HW) zones on the Interlogix Concord 4 panel. It is an additional hardwire zone located on the gateway that is typically only used when enrolling an Alarm.com Image Sensor.

When installing the Image Sensor, a 2kohm resistor is placed in this HW zone terminal. If an Image Sensor is not being installed, the Z1 and ZCOM terminals typically do not have anything hardwired into it.
