How does the Unvacated Premises (Auto Stay) setting work with an Interlogix Concord 4?
The Auto Stay, or unvacated premises, feature is a way for panels to prevent false alarms. If a user is inside and arms their system to Away, yet the user does not leave through a delay door within the delay time, the Interlogix Concord 4 panel reverts to Arm Stay since it assumes the location is unvacated.
For the Interlogix Concord 4, the Auto Stay arming feature is hardcoded in the panel and cannot be changed. This was set to meet Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standards when the Interlogix Concord 4 panel was released.
When arming locally, users must exit the premises through a delay door during the panel's exit delay for the panel to successfully Arm Away. Otherwise, the system reverts to Armed Stay.
Note: This setting does not impact arming using the Customer Website, Customer app, or keyfobs.
