Interact with a Z-Wave device from a DSC Touch
The DSC Touch allows users to interact with Z-Wave lights, thermostats, locks, smart sockets, and garage devices locally at the panel. For information about adding Z-Wave devices, see Manage Z-Wave devices on a DSC Touch.
Note: Additional Z-Wave devices may be able to be added and controlled locally. For more information, contact the device manufacturer.
To interact with Z-Wave lights using a DSC Touch:
- Tap Home Control.
- Tap Lights.
- Tap the checkbox next to the desired lights to adjust.
- Tap On, Off, or adjust the dimmer level slider.
To interact with Z-Wave thermostats using a DSC Touch:
- Tap Home Control.
- Tap Thermostats.
- To set the thermostat mode, tap Off, Heat, Cool, or Auto.
- To adjust the target temperature, tap + or -.
- Tap Save.
To interact with Z-Wave locks using a DSC Touch:
- Tap Home Control.
- Tap Door Locks.
- Tap Get Status, Lock, or Unlock.
To interact with Z-Wave smart sockets using a DSC Touch:
- Tap Home Control.
- Tap Smart Sockets.
- Tap the checkbox next to the desired smart socket to adjust.
- Tap On or Off.
- To view Power Details, tap Details.
To interact with Z-Wave garage devices using a DSC Touch:
- Tap Home Control.
- Tap Garage Doors.
- Tap Get Status, Open, or Close.
