How does the auto stay feature work with a DSC PowerSeries Pro?
The auto stay feature is a way for panels to prevent false alarms. If a customer is inside and they arm their system away without tripping an entry/exit zone during the exit delay (i.e., they do not leave), the panel reverts to arm stay since the location is unvacated. This is not the case when arming remotely from an app or keyfob.
This feature requires Stay/Away zones (i.e., sensor groups 05, 06) to arm stay. For additional questions about auto stay on the panel, contact panel manufacturer.
Note: This feature is hardcoded into the panel and cannot be changed.
